OBODO: 2025 Q4 Memo
Dear OMS Community,
Here we are, entering the final quarter of 2025, how quickly time has flown. At the start of this year, we set a bold goal to add 200 new teachings to our platform. I’m proud to share that we’ve already achieved 65% of that milestone. The months ahead will be dedicated not only to completing this commitment but also to expanding into even more exciting offerings.
As we close out this year, I want to thank each and every one of you. Your encouragement and support in countless ways have been the driving force behind our growth, success, and dedication to this work.
One of the most meaningful updates from the last quarter has been the inclusion of Igbo Language Faculty as an added benefit for independent enrollments in select faculties. This allows members who are already enrolled in some other faculties to also learn Igbo, an especially timely change as we prepare to launch private, customized Igbo lessons in the coming months.
As we step into this season, I wish you success, good health of mind, body, and soul, and divine protection in all you do. Thank you for being such an essential part of our community. I look forward to writing to you again at the dawn of 2026.
With immense gratitude,
Oma
Why “OBODO”?
We chose the name Obodo for our quarterly memos because, in Igbo philosophy, Obodo means “community,” it is a concept rooted in the belief that "I am because we are." It teaches that our humanity is shaped through our relationships with others, that our well-being is tied to the well-being of those around us. Obodo reminds us that no one thrives in isolation, and that our actions should uplift not only ourselves, but also the collective we belong to.
